Thank you to all the lovely children and families who have made Terms 1 and 2 at AliCaT a fun place to be. We have built some wonderful relationships and we’re very excited for the year ahead! Enjoy the break everyone and see you all soon…Ali and Susie x Semester 2 (Terms 3 and 4) begins week commencing January 7th 2019.
The Blue Bottle set for the Junior casts of 2018…Designed by Shaun Batt, assisted by Ali of AliCaT Children and Theatre…
The children have been very busy creating wonderful story corners with the exciting resources we have found hidden in our theatre! We’ve created a spiders web, had a picnic on the moon and even gone on a ghost hunt!…Take a look!
We’re Going on a Ghost Hunt by Marcia Vaughan
Incy Wincy Spider by Keith Chapman & Jack Tickle
Whatever Next by Jill Murphy
“Scaredy-Cat, Splat!” by Rob Scotton (bestselling author of SPLAT THE CAT, LOVE SPLAT, AND MERRY CHRISTMAS, SPLAT!)
It’s Halloween and Splat is determined to be the scariest cat in the class. Unfortunately he’s just too much of a scaredy-cat. He’s afraid of a little spider, and everyone says his costume looks more silly than scary. But when the lights go back on after a ghost story in the dark, the entire class is scared silly by a small, black, furry creature with a big pumpkin head…who can it be?

His wife, Kate and the children are furious until the Bottle is tried out and magical Sprites appear with a marvellous feast.
